From late spring onwards, it navigates the waters between the remote regions of north-east Greenland and the nature reserves of Svalbard and. Basalt cliffs, glaciers, fjords, a giant ice sheet and drifting ice floes provide a backdrop of breathtaking beauty. Our navigation, mainly in the fjords, will be determined by the type of ice we come across; as the fast ice must be preserved, we will take this factor into account from day to day in our itineraries.
